Mounting and dismounting of grinding wheel bearings. The grinding wheel machine is a kind of mechanical processing abrasive, which is used in many industries. If a tool loses its cutting ability due to wear and dullness or tool damage during mechanical processing, it must be sharpened on the grinding wheel to restore its cutting ability.
The grinding wheel machine is commonly used to sharpen various tools and implements, and is also used for grinding, deburring and cleaning of common small parts. It is mainly composed of base, grinding wheel, motor or other power source, bracket, protective cover and water feeder. It can be divided into hand-held grinder, vertical grinder, hanging grinder, table grinder, etc.
Grinding wheel machine bearings are used in many industries. For example, in the process of mechanical processing, due to tool wear and dulling or tool damage and loss of cutting ability, it is necessary to sharpen the tool on the grinding wheel to restore its cutting ability.
The grinding wheel bearing is a special tool, its use of speed is very fast, in order to better use the grinding wheel bearing we must pay attention to its installation and removal of some methods and precautions.
The grinding wheel used must not have cracks, defects or disabilities such as defects, and the installation must be solid. This point should also be noted at all times during use. Once the grinding wheel is found to have cracks, defects or disabilities, immediately stop using it and replace it with a new one; when it is active, it should be immediately stopped and tightened.
1、Step flange mounting sanding wheel: for parallel sanding wheels with larger apertures, the sanding wheel is first clamped between two flanges with nuts and screws, and then mounted on the outer vertebrae of the sanding wheel spindle and fastened with nuts.
2、Plane flange clamping grinding wheel: used for parallel grinding wheels and bowl-shaped wheels of lesser diameter, the grinding wheel is directly clamped on the grinding wheel spindle or the extension shaft with a plane flange and a washer with a nut.
3、Long axis clamping: for smaller diameter (20mm or less) grinding wheels.
4、Sulfur bonding clamping is applicable to cylindrical grinding wheels.
1、Before installing the grinding wheel bearing, the grinding wheel should be checked for cracks. The common method is to lift the grinding wheel and gently tap the side of the grinding wheel with a wooden handle, if the sound is crisp, it means the grinding wheel has no cracks, if the sound is dumb, it means the grinding wheel has cracks.
2、The new grinding wheel should have the factory certificate of conformity or check the test mark. If defects such as quality, hardness, particle size and appearance of the grinding wheel are found before installation, it cannot be used.
3、The inner hole of the grinding wheel bearing should have a proper clearance with the extension shaft, flange, etc. so that the grinding wheel will not be cracked due to thermal expansion during grinding.
4. When installing the grinding wheel, the clearance between the bore of the grinding wheel and the spindle fit should not be too tight, and should be controlled between 0.05 and 0.10 mm according to the technical requirements of the loose fit in general.
5、When using the flange to clamp the grinding wheel, the diameters of the two flanges must be equal, and their sizes should be no less than one-third of the outer diameter of the grinding wheel, and the part of the inner end surface of the flange against the center should dig an annular groove of 2~3mm deep, so that only the outer edge of the annular surface is in contact with the grinding wheel to ensure that the clamping is stable, while the end surface of the flange in contact with the grinding wheel must be straight.
6, between the flange, gasket and grinding wheel end face, should be put on the pads made of thick cardboard, oil-resistant rubber and other elastic materials, so that the pressure is evenly distributed when pressing the flange, gasket, so as not to damage the grinding wheel. The thickness of the pad can be between 0.5 ~ 1mm, its diameter should be slightly larger than the diameter of the flange or gasket.
7. When tightening the flange, the nut should not be screwed too tightly, otherwise the grinding wheel will break. When tightening the flange with several screws, the screws should be gradually tightened in diagonal order in several times. When tightening the screws, only use standard wrenches, and no extension wrenches or knocking methods to increase the tightening force.
8、When installing the grinding wheel flange onto the grinding machine spindle, the conical hole of the flange must be wiped very clean with the cone of the grinding machine spindle to ensure the concentricity of the grinding wheel and the spindle.
9. When a new grinding wheel is first installed on the grinding machine after balancing, it must be idled for 1 to 3 min with a protective cover, at which time the operator must stand on the side of the grinding wheel to prevent accidents.
