Bearing lubrication methods:

Bearing lubrication usually has the following different ways.
1、One of the bearing lubrication methods manual lubrication
This is the most primitive method, in the case of insufficient lubricating oil for the bearing, use the oiler to supply oil. But this method is difficult to keep the oil quantity certain, because of negligence forget to refuel the danger is greater, usually only used for light load, low speed or intermittent motion occasions, the best operation, set up dust cover or ball valve on the refueling hole, and use felt, cotton, wool, etc. for filtering device.
2、One of the bearing lubrication methods Drop point lubrication

Oil pad lubrication oil supply is usually only 1/20 of oil lubrication.
6、Oil bath lubrication
This lubrication method is to immerse a part of the bearing into the lubricating oil, which is often used in the thrust bearing of vertical shaft, and not suitable for the radial bearing of horizontal shaft.
7、Splash lubrication
Through other running parts will be oil splash after bringing into the bearing of a lubrication method, splash lubrication oil supply is not easy to adjust, lubricating oil surface can not be too high, otherwise it is easy to produce mixing loss and temperature rise, but also easy to bring the oil tank impurities into the bearing internal damage to the bearing.
Depend on the oil tank in the rotating parts of the beat and splash up the lubricant supply bearings, bearings are not submerged in oil. Suitable for higher speed bearings.
8、Spray lubrication
Lubricant atomization after spraying in the friction surface lubrication method, suitable for high-speed bearings.
9、Pressure supply lubrication
By the pressure of the lubrication pump to the bearing oil supply, from the bearing out of the lubricant recovery to the oil pool in order to recycle, is the most oil supply and the most stable lubrication method, suitable for high-speed, heavy load, important sliding bearings.
10、Circulating oil lubrication
Through the oil pump lubricating oil from the mailbox after suction oil transported to the bearing need lubrication parts, and then from the return port back to the oil tank, after filtering re-use of a lubrication method, oil supply system by the oil pump, cooler, oil tank, oil pipeline, etc., circulating oil lubrication lubrication full lubrication, oil supply is easy to control, heat dissipation and impurity removal ability, circulating oil lubrication is a more ideal lubrication method, but need independent oil supply system, manufacturing costs are relatively high.
Circulating oil lubrication can be divided into oil injection lubrication, forced lubrication and spray lubrication. They are classified in different angles.
Application: Circulating oil lubrication is suitable for the purpose of heat dissipation or impurity removal, as well as high speed and high temperature, heavy load, and high reliability of use.
11、Jet lubrication
Use oil pump to shoot high-pressure oil into the bearing through the nozzle, and the oil shot into the bearing flows into the oil tank through the other end of the bearing. When the bearing rotates at high speed, the rolling body and cage also rotate at a fairly high speed to make the surrounding air form airflow, it is difficult to send the lubricating oil to the bearing by general lubrication method, then the lubricating oil must be sprayed to the bearing by high pressure spraying method, the position of the nozzle should be placed between the inner ring and the center of the cage.
Bearing lubrication is a continuous task, and the replacement cycle of lubricant is based on the conditions of use of the bearing and the amount of oil. In general, when used in a good environment with a running temperature of 50℃ or less and little dust, it should be replaced once a year, and when the oil temperature reaches 100℃, it should be replaced once in 3 months or less.
