How to mount and dismount eyeball bearings?

In the place where the press is missing or cannot be used, the eye ball bearing can be mounted with the assembly sleeve and a small hammer. The hammering force should be uniformly transmitted to the entire circumference of the end face of the end rod joint bearing collar, so the end face of the assembly sleeve subject to hammering should be made spherical.

Hot mounting of eyeball bearings

The force required to install the eye ball bearing with the size of the joint bearing and the size of the interference with the size of the joint, for the interference of a large amount of medium-sized or large joint bearing commonly used in the hot installation method. Before the hot installation of the eye ball bearing or separable spherical bearing collar into the oil tank or special heater evenly heated to 80-100 ℃, do not exceed 100 ℃.

How to mount and dismount eyeball bearing

Hot-fitting eye ball bearings requires skilled operation skills. When the eye ball bearing is taken out from the heating oil tank or heater, the oil stains and attachments on the surface of the eye ball bearing should be wiped off immediately with a clean cloth (note that cotton yarn should not be used), then put it in front of the mating surface and push the spherical bearing against the shaft shoulder in one operation. It should always be pushed tightly during the cooling process, or use a small hammer to tap the eye bearing through the assembly sleeve to make it tight. When installing the eye ball bearing, the spherical bearing should be rotated slightly to avoid tipping or jamming of the installation.

Eye ball bearing outer ring and shell hole for the tight fit can also be heated shell after mounting eye ball bearing. Especially the eye ball bearing of light metal material, in the process of tight fit, may cause damage to the mating surface due to its outer ring pressing in, in this case, the eye ball bearing should be heated first.
