KHRD Cylindrical Roller Bearings Introduction

Most of KHRD cylindrical roller bearings belong to separated type bearings, which are very easy to install and dismantle. Cylindrical roller bearings can withstand large radial loads and are suitable for use in high speed running situations. These bearings allow the inner ring axis and the outer ring axis angle error (tilt) is very small, only 2 ~ 4 ‘. Therefore, the shaft and bearing seat processing accuracy requirements are relatively high, otherwise, easy in the raceway contact parts out of the uneven load or stress concentration. But the roller or raceway contact bus is corrected, can reduce the occurrence of stress concentration situation.

KHRD cylindrical roller classification:

KHRD cylindrical roller bearings can be divided into single row, double row and multi-row cylindrical roller bearings and other different structures according to the number of rows of roller bodies installed. Different structure bearings are also shown in the design of the position of the retaining edge. Among them, the common KHRD cylindrical roller bearings have the following shapes

Single row KHRD cylindrical roller bearings

N, NU type

N type bearings have no retaining edge on the outer ring and retaining edge on both sides of the inner ring. It can allow the displacement between the shaft relative to the bearing seat in both directions in the axial direction.
NU type bearings have a retaining edge on both sides of the outer ring and no retaining edge on the inner ring. It can also allow the displacement between the shaft and the housing in both directions in the axial direction. Therefore, this type of structure is suitable for use as a traveling end bearing.

NJ、NF type

NJ type bearing has retaining edge on both sides of the outer ring and retaining edge on one side of the inner ring. Can bear a certain amount of one-way axial load
NF type of outer ring single side has a retaining edge, inner ring both sides have a retaining edge. It can also bear a certain amount of one-way axial load.
Therefore, this type of structure is suitable for use as a single direction axial locating bearing.

NUP, NFP type

NUP type bearing is the outer ring on both sides of the retaining edge, the inner ring on one side with (fixed) single retaining edge, while the other side for the separable flat retaining ring. It can bear a certain amount of bi-directional axial load.
The NFP type bearing is with (fixed) single edge on one side of the outer ring, and the other side is separable flat retaining area, and the inner ring has retaining edge on both sides. Also can bear a certain amount of bidirectional axial load.
This type of structure bearing can limit the displacement of the shaft relative to the housing in both directions in the axial direction. Therefore, it is suitable for use as fixed end bearings.

NH(NJ+HJ) type

The NH type bearing is a combination of the NJ type bearing and the HJ type tilting stopper. Since the NUP type bearing is shorter and the flat retaining ring is not fixed, it is inconvenient to use the NH type bearing because it can use the entire width of the inner ring of the NJ type bearing to maintain a closer fit with the shaft. And NH type bearings are more convenient in installation and disassembly

Double row KHRD cylindrical roller bearings

KHRD double row cylindrical roller bearings have cylindrical bore and tapered bore (bearing back code plus K) two kinds of structure. This type of bearing has the advantages of compact structure, high rigidity, large load carrying capacity, small deformation after load, especially suitable for machine tool spindle support. Tapered bore can also play a role in micro-adjustment of clearance, and can simplify the positioning device structure, convenient installation and disassembly.

KHRD double row cylindrical roller bearing type

NN, NNU type

NN type bearing outer ring without retaining edge, inner ring on both sides of the retaining edge in the middle of the retaining edge. Can allow the shaft relative to the bearing seat between the two directions of displacement in the axial direction.
The NNU type bearing has a middle edge on both sides of the outer ring and no edge on the inner ring. It can allow the shaft to produce two directions of displacement in the axial direction relative to the bearing seat.
Therefore, this type of structure is suitable for the traveling end bearing.

NNF type

NNF type bearing is a double row full complement cylindrical roller bearing, bearing by a with the middle of the edge of the outer ring, two inner ring with a double edge of the structure type. The rollers are guided by the inner ring’s retaining edge, and the two inner rings are fixed together with fastening rings. The structure can withstand a large radial load and axial load, but also can withstand the overturning moment, therefore, often used as a fixed end bearing.

Four-row cylindrical roller bearings

KHRD four-row cylindrical roller bearings are mainly used in hot and cold rolling mills, billet openers and other rolling mill machinery, the bearings are of separated structure, the bearing rings and rolling body components can be easily separated, therefore, the cleaning, inspection or installation and disassembly of the bearings are very convenient.

KHRD cylindrical roller bearing cage

♦ brass turned solid cage structure. We can also design and supply bearings with glass fiber reinforced nylon 66 cage according to the application and customer’s requirements. Bearings with glass fiber reinforced nylon 66 cage can be continuously rotated at a maximum temperature of +120℃.

♦ For single row cylindrical roller bearing cage working under continuous high temperature or severe conditions, it is recommended to use steel plate stamping cage and brass turned solid cage structure.

♦ KHRD double (four) row cylindrical roller bearing cage generally use brass turned solid cage structure, for very large bearings also have welded pillar steel cage structure.
