Needle roller bearing is a roller bearing with cylindrical roller. The roller is thin and long relative to its diameter. This kind of roller is called needle roller. Installation method of fully loaded needle roller bearing
  1. The auxiliary sleeve is used to install the full loaded needle roller bearing;
  2. The auxiliary roller or auxiliary sleeve holds the needle to prevent it from falling out, and the journal lifts the needle with its own chamfer;
  3. As the needle bearing moves inward slowly on the journal, the auxiliary roll or sleeve will exit slowly until it is installed in the working position.
  4. The outer diameter of the auxiliary roller and sleeve should be 0.1-0.3mm smaller than that of the shaft. During installation, first, coat the inner surface of the bearing outer ring with grease and stick the needle close to the inner surface (there should be clearance when putting the last needle).
  5. Then, the auxiliary roller or sleeve instead of the journal or bearing inner ring is pushed into the outer ring hole, and its end face is aligned with the end face of the mounting shaft or the end face of the bearing inner ring that has been installed on the shaft, and then the pressure is applied by knocking with a press or hammer.
Installation method of needle roller bearing
  1. Apply a thin layer of lubricating oil on the outer diameter of the auxiliary sleeve, put it into the outer ring of the bearing, make the auxiliary sleeve and the outer ring of the bearing form an annular hole, and then install a needle in the annular hole.
  2. After installing the needle roller, push out the auxiliary sleeve with the working shaft.
Installation method of needle roller bearing without an inner ring or outer ring
  1. During the installation, the rolling surface of the shaft or shell hole can be coated with a thin layer of grease, and the needle roller can be attached to the grease of the installation part in turn.
  2. There should be a clearance when the last needle is attached. The clearance should be 0.5mm on the circumference of the needle bearing.
  3. It is not allowed to squeeze in the last needle or install one less needle, because the bearing will be stuck and cannot rotate during the hard squeeze;
  4. When less installed, the clearance is too large, which is easy to cause the needle to twist and break when the bearing is running.
Installation method of needle roller bearing for stamping outer ring
  1. As the outer ring wall is very thin, the needle roller bearing should be pressed in with a press instead of hammering.
  2. Because the pressure is not uniform when hammering, it is easy to make the outer ring of needle roller bearing produce local deformation.

Warm tips: needle roller bearing has a large bearing capacity and is suitable for supporting structures with limited installation size. The journal surface is hardened as a rolling surface, and the bearing is installed into the seat hole with a press-fit, so there is no need for axial positioning. The bearing should be injected with the proper amount of grease before installation. Generally, it is unnecessary to lubricate after assembly. BK type bearing is used in the support of the journal without extension end. The end face is sealed and can withstand small axial swimming.
