Clean INA bearings is not as easy as we make it out to be. When cleaning imported Japanese ina bearings, some details should be noted!
For INA bearings that are not convenient to disassemble, please use hot oil for cleaning. That is, drench the hot machine with 90°-100°C to dissolve the old oil, dig out the old oil inside the bearing with iron hook or iron spoon, rinse the old oil and oil left inside the bearing with kerosene, and then just rinse with gasoline.
Test the clean quality of ina bearing by hand feeling. After the bearing cleaning, carefully check the inner and outer ring raceway, rolling body and cage gap always have some residual oil. When checking, scrape the remaining oil with a clean stopper, apply it on your thumb and rub it back and forth slowly with your index finger. If there is a rustling sound heard between your fingers at this time, it means that this bearing is not clean and should be cleaned again. Finally, hold the bearing by hand, hold the inner ring, move the outer ring to make it rotate horizontally (large bearings can be placed on the assembly platform, the inner ring is padded, the outer ring is suspended, the inner ring is pressed and the outer ring is rotated). Flexible rotation, no stalling, no jumping is qualified
Cleaning with gasoline or kerosene, one hand holding the inner ring of the bearing, the other hand slowly rotate the outer ring, until the bearing rolling body, raceway, cage on the oil all rinsed clean, and then clean the bearing outer ring surface. When cleaning, need to pay attention to the beginning of the slow rotation and reciprocal shaking, do not rotate too hard. Otherwise, INA bearings raceway and rolling body is easily damaged by the attached dirt. When the bearing is cleaned more times, in order to save gasoline and kerosene and ensure the cleaning quality, it can be divided into two kinds of coarse cleaning and fine cleaning.
First clean with gasoline or kerosene, wipe with a dry cloth, and then apply a small amount of oil to facilitate installation. After cleaning these parts, it should be noted that all castings with type sand should be completely removed; burrs and sharp corners on the parts matched with INA bearings must be removed to avoid residual sand and metal debris falling into the bearings during installation, which affects the quality of assembly.
